Last Week of Summer 2008
Oh my. It's time. Time to go back to school. Crap! I really don't want to go back. I thought I wanted to, because I was all excited about starting college but now that I think about it, I don't want to go back to all the studying, reading, math problems, crap crap crap. I'm dreading it. And right now, I should be hanging out with everyone, trying to make the best out of the last week of freedom, but I'm so tired. I've completely lost the energy to do something. What the heck.

All in all though, I am pretty happy about summer 2008. I did more than I've done the past summers (although, less vacation away from home). I only went to San Luis Obispo, which I just got back from two days ago. It was pretty interesting. The beach was lovely as always but everything else there wasn't that spectacular. Maybe if I reach retirement age, I'll buy a house near the beach there and live peacefully. That'd be something. But I for sure want to go back there again, someday. I'll add that to my list of places to go back to. We also stumbled upon this place called "Solvang." I've never heard of it prior to us going there but it was definitely interesting. It was like this little Scandinavian village in the middle of nowhere in California. There were mountains and hills and fields surrounding the area but when you go inside the city, there's like little buildings that remind me of like European villages. It definitely had that European feel, which I really liked, except there were tourists everywhere. Like, I couldn't tell who lived there and who was visiting. And again, I would definitely add that to the list.

Another thing I did this past summer was watch movies... a lot of them. I watched movies in the theater, in dvds, and online. I actually got tired of watching them for a while, but yeah, it's something I've never really done before, watch movies. Also, I watched my shows. I got hooked to October Road, which ended, sadly. Another show I enjoyed was House M.D. At first, I was reluctant to watch that show because I thought it wouldn't appeal to me. But, wow did it appeal to me. Unfortunately, it didn't appeal to me enough to watch the entire series. I only watched a couple of season 1 and season 4 and just read what happened in seasons 2 and 3. haha. Something I didn't do enough this summer, unlike every other summer, was read a book. I think it was just me getting really tired of academic stuff. I did buy two books though, "How to be Good" by Nick Hornby and "Bright Shiny Morning" by James Frey. I haven't finished either one, but I'm in the process of doing so. I still have tons of books that I've bought that I haven't read, it's really a shame but I like buying them. haha.  I went to gym too. Not as much as I'd want to, but enough to feel good. I've lost about 7 lbs.. and gained a couple.. lol I say it's because of the muscles I've gained too ;].

Hmm, I think that's pretty much the recap of my summer. I really have no regrets about it, I've hung out with the people I wanted to, and haven't hung out with the people I didn't want to (except a few times).

On to school. -___-

So basically every tuesdays and thursdays, I will have 3 classes a day. From 8/26- 10/19, I will have MATH 3A, then CHEM 1A and then ANTH 1. And from 10/21-12/21, I will have MATH 3A, then CHEM 1A and then WR 1. Saturdays is tennis time. Why intermediate, you ask? It's because I won't be able to fit Advanced in my schedule because Advanced Tennis is during Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3:00-4:00 or something so yeah. I'm just afraid because I think I'll get sick of having basically no break during Tuesdays and Thursdays then a lot of freedom on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. I have a 10 min break from MATH and CHEM and then a 10 min break from CHEM lecture to CHEM lab and then a 40 min break from CHEM to ANTH (where I would probably hang out with Steph). And then when ANTH is over, I'd have a 2 hr and 40 min break from CHEM to WR (where I have no idea what I would do). It's definitely going to be interesting.

This is a gigantic post so I think I'll end it.
